I work third shift at a data center.
……and it is making me miserable.
I look forward to my days off and dread when they end.
I’ve never been able to stick to a side hustle because I’m never sure if I’m executing it correctly.
So, I let my mind get the best of me
And then I stop.
I guess a 9 to 5 salary is the kiss of death.
I have friends on this path and they have zero motivation to do anything.
They’re all pasty, skinny fat, and generally miserable. Making too much to change paths or start a side hustle…but also scared to lose their salary.
My wife says that I shouldn’t be making my quest for a side hustle such a priority while she is making our home and our family her priority.
She says she’s starting to feel alone and burnt out.
But at the same time she’s a nurse and she does agency work on the side. Old folks homes, plasma centers, etc.
