Got your first ‘Plan B’ second-income generator started yet?
No?
Not yet?
So what’s your excuse then?
Feeling perhaps a little uncomfortable about the fact that you haven’t yet taken action? Or that you haven’t yet taken enough action to get something going?
Good!
It CAN actually be a tad uncomfortable to take the trouble to do something different and to step outside your sphere of experience.
For example, learning something new takes you outside of your comfort zone. Taking the leap and investing a few hundred or a few thousand dollars in a new program or training to move your life forward takes you outside of your comfort zone.
And it’s obviously much easier to stay INSIDE your comfy, cozy little comfort zone, where nothing much ever changes, but at least you know what to expect, from day to day, week to week, month to month and year to year. Year in and year out. If you stay inside your comfort zone nothing changes.
Trouble is, you just end up staying where you are financially and your lifestyle stays where it is too, so does your job and the things you might dislike about that job. The stress of what you have to do day to day to pay the bills never gets any easier either. And never will.
And all because you stayed in your comfort zone and didn’t stretch or test yourself in any way.
If that sounds like you, believe me, you are not alone.
That was me at one stage in my life. In the bad old days. I used to amble along doing the same old, same old. Making the same level of income and suffering the same amount of stress, doing a job I hated.
I remember when I had what most people call a ‘proper job. Here’s what my ‘proper’ job entailed and the lifestyle it gave me…
* Working all the hours God sent just to try and meet the monthly bills.
* Leaving for work before my kids got up in the morning.
